Our installation process starts with a full assessment of your building’s heating and cooling needs. We look at the size of your space, how many people use it, insulation levels, and your current ductwork. This helps us recommend the right size and type of rooftop unit for your property.
Once we agree on the equipment, our technicians prepare the rooftop for installation. This includes checking the mounting platform, verifying structural support, and making sure electrical and gas connections are ready. We then lift the new unit into place using proper equipment to avoid damage to your roof or the unit itself.
After mounting, we connect all ductwork, electrical lines, and gas or refrigerant lines. We charge the system with the correct refrigerant, test all components, and verify airflow through your building. For businesses also upgrading their duct systems, we offer commercial ductwork installation as a paired service to ensure optimal performance.
Before we finish, we walk you through how to operate your new rooftop unit and schedule a follow-up visit to confirm everything is working as expected. Our goal is to leave your building with a system that runs reliably for years to come.
Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The cost of rooftop unit installation varies based on several factors. The size of the unit needed for your building is the biggest driver of price. Larger commercial spaces require more powerful units, which cost more upfront but handle the load without straining.
The type of rooftop unit also affects pricing. Standard single-stage units are more affordable, while variable-speed units with advanced controls cost more but offer better energy efficiency and more consistent temperatures. If your current system uses older refrigerants like R-22, upgrading to a modern unit with R-410A adds to the project cost but eliminates future refrigerant availability concerns.
Your building’s current setup plays a role too. If your roof structure needs reinforcement or your electrical system needs upgrades, those costs factor into the total. We provide detailed quotes upfront so you know exactly what to expect before work begins.
Many Campbell County business owners compare rooftop unit installation with RTU replacement when deciding between a full installation or simply swapping out the existing unit. We can advise which approach makes more sense for your building’s condition and budget.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.

How long does a rooftop unit installation take?
Most commercial rooftop unit installations take one to three days. The timeline depends on whether we are doing a straightforward replacement or a more involved new installation with electrical or structural work. We give you a schedule estimate before we start.
Can you install a rooftop unit on any commercial building?
Most commercial buildings can support a rooftop unit, but the roof must have adequate structural support and clear access for installation equipment. We inspect your roof during the planning phase to confirm it is suitable.
What size rooftop unit do I need for my building?
Unit size depends on your building’s square footage, ceiling height, insulation, occupancy levels, and other factors. We perform a heat load calculation to determine the exact size needed. Undersized units struggle to cool or heat your space, while oversized units cycle on and off too frequently, wasting energy.
Will a new rooftop unit lower my energy bills?
A new ENERGY STAR-certified rooftop unit with a high efficiency rating uses significantly less energy than an older model. Combined with proper installation and regular maintenance, many Campbell County business owners see a noticeable reduction in their HVAC energy costs.
Do I need to evacuate my building during installation?
In most cases, you can continue business operations with minimal disruption. We work around your schedule and take steps to minimize noise and debris in occupied areas. For some projects, we may recommend temporary cooling solutions if the work affects your main system.
