Our process starts when you call, not when we arrive. We begin with a detailed conversation about your heating system’s symptoms and your home’s comfort concerns. This helps our technicians arrive prepared with the right tools and parts for common issues.
Once on-site, our technicians perform a thorough inspection of your complete heating system. We check the heat source, whether it’s electric heating elements, gas burners, or a heat pump’s refrigeration cycle. We test electrical components including capacitors, contactors, and safety switches. We measure temperature output at multiple vents to check for airflow problems. And we inspect the ventilation system for leaks, blockages, or damage that could affect heating performance.
After diagnosis, we explain exactly what we found in plain language. We give you repair options with clear pricing before doing any work. For older systems with multiple failures, we may recommend replacement instead of continued repairs. Our team handles complete heating system installations, and we can also connect you with furnace repair services if your current unit just needs targeted fixes rather than full replacement.
All work comes with a labor warranty, and we use quality replacement parts designed for your specific equipment make and model. We also offer HVAC maintenance plans that help prevent future heating problems through regular seasonal tune-ups.
Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Heating service costs in our area depend on several factors specific to your home and equipment. Understanding these factors helps you budget for heating work and make informed decisions about repair versus replacement.
The type of heating system you have significantly affects service costs. Electric furnaces typically cost less to repair than heat pumps because heat pumps have more complex refrigeration components. Gas furnaces fall somewhere in the middle, though gas-related repairs sometimes require specialized certifications and parts. Systems with older technology may need parts that are harder to source, which can increase both parts costs and labor time.
The specific problem also matters. A failed thermostat or dirty filter might be a quick fix under $200. Replacing heating elements in an electric furnace typically runs $300-$600 depending on how many elements fail. Heat pump compressor issues can cost more because the compressor is the most expensive component in the system. Complete heating system replacement involves the unit cost plus installation labor, ductwork modifications if needed, and permits in some areas. Many homeowners compare the long-term value of repair against the efficiency gains of a new system, especially if their current unit is over 15 years old.
Emergency and after-hours service carries premium rates, so regular maintenance through our HVAC tune up services helps you avoid costly emergency calls. We provide detailed written estimates before starting any work, so you know exactly what to expect.

We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
Generally, if your heating system is less than 10 years old and the repair cost is under $1,000, repair makes sense. If your system is over 15 years old, requires frequent repairs, or faces a repair costing more than half the price of a new unit, replacement often provides better long-term value through improved efficiency and lower monthly heating bills.
Annual heating maintenance is recommended, ideally in early fall before the first cold weather arrives. This tune-up catches developing problems before they cause a breakdown during cold weather when you need heat most. Homes with older systems or systems that run frequently may benefit from twice-yearly inspections.
Proper sizing depends on your home’s square footage, ceiling height, insulation levels, window quality, and climate zone. An undersized system struggles to keep up on the coldest days, while an oversized system cycles on and off too frequently, wasting energy and wearing out faster. Our technicians perform heat load calculations to determine the right size for your specific home.
High heating bills usually stem from a few common causes: a dirty air filter restricting airflow, thermostat settings that are too high, leaks in ductwork venting heated air into attics or crawlspaces, or an aging system that has lost efficiency. We can perform an energy assessment to identify where your heating dollar is going and recommend fixes that lower your bills.
Heating system installation requires licensed professionals for several reasons. Gas and oil heating systems involve fuel connections that must be leak-tested and safely vented. Electrical connections must meet local codes. Refrigerant handling on heat pumps requires EPA certification. And improper installation can void warranties, create safety hazards, or reduce system efficiency. Always use a qualified heating contractor for installations.
