Our furnace installation process starts with a home visit. A technician checks your home size, insulation, and existing ductwork to find the right furnace capacity for your space. We explain your options and give you a clear estimate before you commit to anything.
Once you choose a furnace, we schedule your installation. The old furnace gets disconnected and removed safely. Your new furnace goes in, connects to your ductwork, and links to your thermostat. We test everything to make sure it heats your home evenly and efficiently.
After the installation, we walk you through how your new furnace works and what maintenance it needs. If you are considering other heating options for your home, we can also discuss gas furnace installation as an alternative fuel source for your replacement.
Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Furnace installation cost depends mainly on the size and efficiency rating of the unit you choose. A furnace rated for a larger home costs more upfront but heats your space without working overtime. High efficiency furnaces with 90-98% AFUE ratings cost more than standard units, but they use less fuel and lower your monthly heating bills over time.
The fuel type also affects your total cost. Gas furnaces typically have lower operating costs than electric models, though installation requirements differ depending on your home’s existing setup. Labor makes up part of the estimate too, especially if your technician needs to modify ductwork or install new venting.
Other factors include removing your old furnace, upgrading your thermostat, and adding zoning controls for multiple temperature zones. Permit fees in the Campbell County area are usually minor but add to the overall project cost.
Most homeowners across LaFollette, Caryville, and Campbell County TN pay between $5,000 and $10,000 for a full furnace installation. The final price depends mostly on unit size and efficiency level. If you are comparing heating systems, boiler installation is another option that uses radiators or baseboards instead of ductwork to distribute heat.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.
We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
How long does a furnace last in Campbell County?
Most furnaces work reliably for 15 to 20 years with proper annual maintenance. If your current furnace sits in that age range and needs regular repairs, a new furnace installation often costs less than continued patching.
What size furnace does my home need?
The right size depends on your home square footage, ceiling height, insulation levels, and number of windows. Our technician performs a load calculation during your estimate to recommend a furnace with enough capacity without being oversized for your space.
Can I install a new furnace myself to save money?
Furnace installation requires handling gas lines, electrical connections, and proper venting. DIY installation risks gas leaks, carbon monoxide exposure, and voided warranties. Professional installation from ThermoSTAT Heating & Cooling keeps your home safe and your warranty valid.
How long does furnace installation take?
Most residential furnace installations finish in one to two days. If ductwork modifications or system upgrades are needed, the timeline extends accordingly. We give you a clear schedule before starting the work.
Should I replace my furnace in summer or wait until winter?
Summer and early fall give you the most scheduling flexibility before cold weather arrives. Emergency replacements during peak heating season may have longer wait times. Scheduling early lets you choose the best furnace for your home without rushing the decision.
