He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
Our technicians work on emergency furnace problems every day throughout Campbell County. We know the heating challenges homes face in this area—old furnaces giving out on the coldest nights, gas valves failing, and ignition systems breaking down at the worst possible time.
With heating contractor services covering the full region, we have the equipment and expertise to handle any emergency furnace situation. Whether you are near LaFollette, closer to Caryville, or anywhere else in the county, we respond fast. Tennessee winters drop below freezing regularly, and a working furnace is not optional when temperatures fall. Our team understands that, which is why we prioritize emergency calls and work quickly to restore your heat.
Furnaces in this area commonly last 15 to 20 years, but components wear out faster than the unit itself. When something breaks unexpectedly, you need a technician who knows furnaces inside and out and can get the job done the first time. That is what our team delivers.
The blower motor serves as your furnace’s circulatory system, moving heated air throughout your home’s ductwork. In the LaFollette, LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN, and Caryville areas, blower motors work harder due to varying seasonal demands and the region’s humidity levels. When this critical component fails, you’ll notice reduced airflow, unusual noises, or complete heating system shutdown.
Our furnace blower motor repair service addresses common problems including worn bearings, capacitor failures, and motor overheating. We diagnose issues using specialized tools to measure electrical draw, airflow rates, and motor performance. Many blower motor problems stem from restricted airflow caused by dirty filters or blocked ductwork, which forces the motor to work overtime and eventually fail.
During our repair process, we inspect the entire air circulation system to identify underlying causes and prevent future breakdowns. This includes examining belt tension, checking for proper lubrication, and ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Our technicians can often repair motors on-site, but when replacement is necessary, we stock high-efficiency models that reduce energy consumption. Proper blower motor function is essential for optimal performance of both heating and central air conditioning systems. We also recommend regular furnace duct cleaning to maintain proper airflow and reduce strain on your blower motor.
Heat exchanger problems represent some of the most serious furnace issues, as this component separates combustion gases from the air circulating through your home. In East Tennessee’s climate, where furnaces experience significant seasonal use variations, heat exchangers can develop cracks or corrosion that compromise both efficiency and safety. Our heat exchanger repair service provides expert diagnosis and solutions for these complex problems.
Heat exchanger damage often results from years of thermal cycling, inadequate maintenance, or restricted airflow conditions. We use advanced inspection techniques including camera scopes and combustion analysis to accurately assess heat exchanger condition. Minor issues may be repairable, but significant cracks or corrosion typically require complete replacement to ensure safe operation.
The repair process involves careful disassembly of furnace components, precise removal of the damaged exchanger, and installation of manufacturer-approved replacements. We ensure proper sizing and compatibility with your existing system while upgrading to more durable materials when possible. Heat exchanger repairs often present an opportunity to evaluate overall system efficiency and consider modern alternatives. Given the complexity and cost of heat exchanger replacement, many homeowners explore furnace replacement options or upgrade to high-efficiency furnace systems. Our comprehensive approach includes examining factors that contributed to the original failure and implementing ductwork cleaning or modifications to prevent future problems.
When your furnace runs but fails to produce adequate heat, the problem could stem from various system components working individually but not functioning together effectively. Our furnace not heating repair service systematically diagnoses these complex issues to restore proper heating performance throughout your Campbell County area home.
Common causes include thermostat malfunctions, gas supply restrictions, airflow problems, or partially failed heating elements in electric systems. We begin with comprehensive system testing to measure actual heat output, airflow rates, and temperature differentials across the system. This data-driven approach helps us identify whether the problem lies in heat production, heat distribution, or system controls.
Our diagnostic process examines every aspect of heat delivery, from combustion efficiency in gas systems to electrical element performance in electric furnaces. We check ductwork for leaks or restrictions that prevent heated air from reaching living spaces effectively. Many heating problems result from combinations of minor issues that compound to significantly reduce system performance.
The repair process addresses root causes rather than just symptoms, ensuring lasting solutions. This might involve cleaning burners, adjusting gas pressures, replacing worn components, or modifying airflow patterns. We also evaluate whether existing ductwork adequately serves your home’s heating needs. Sometimes heating problems indicate the need for professional duct cleaning or consideration of heat pump alternatives. Our comprehensive approach includes smart thermostat upgrades that optimize heating performance and energy efficiency.

Few heating problems are more frustrating than a furnace that completely refuses to start, especially during East Tennessee’s unpredictable winter weather. Our furnace not turning on repair service quickly identifies and resolves startup failures, restoring reliable heating to homes throughout the LaFollette and LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN areas.
Startup failures can result from electrical issues, safety system lockouts, thermostat problems, or mechanical component failures. Our systematic diagnostic approach tests each system component in sequence, from basic power supply through complex control circuits. We use advanced testing equipment to measure voltages, check safety switch operations, and verify proper communication between system components.
Many startup problems stem from safety systems working exactly as designed, shutting down the furnace when sensors detect potentially dangerous conditions. Our technicians are trained to interpret error codes, analyze safety system responses, and identify the underlying conditions that triggered shutdowns. This expertise is crucial because simply resetting the system without addressing root causes often leads to repeated failures.
The repair process varies significantly depending on the specific failure mode, from simple thermostat battery replacement to complex control board repairs. We prioritize safety throughout every repair, ensuring all protective systems function properly before returning the furnace to service. Common solutions include cleaning safety sensors, replacing worn electrical components, or addressing airflow restrictions. When electrical problems are extensive, we evaluate whether new furnace installation provides better long-term value. Our service includes testing thermostat functionality and ensuring proper air vent operation throughout your home’s heating system.
Gas furnaces remain the most popular heating choice throughout rural Campbell County due to their efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Our specialized gas furnace repair service addresses the unique challenges of gas-fired heating systems, from combustion problems to venting issues that can affect both performance and safety.
Gas furnace repairs require specialized knowledge of combustion principles, gas pressures, and safety systems that protect your family from carbon monoxide exposure. Our service connects with broader HVAC solutions including central air conditioning for year-round comfort and air duct sanitizing for improved indoor air quality. We also provide whole house humidifier installation to address dry winter air common with gas heating systems.
A properly sized unit cools every room evenly, avoiding hot spots and cold drafts throughout your home.
When your AC matches your home’s square footage and insulation, it doesn’t need to overwork, helping you save on energy costs.
Oversized systems cycle on and off too often, while undersized ones run constantly. Both lead to faster wear and tear.
Correctly sized units remove humidity effectively, keeping your indoor air more comfortable during LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN’s humid summers.
Proper sizing means less strain on the compressor and other key components, minimizing breakdowns and repair costs.
