When you call for air conditioner repair, our technician starts with a thorough visual inspection of both the outdoor and indoor units. We test electrical components with specialized tools, check refrigerant pressure, and evaluate airflow across the evaporator and condenser coils.
Once we identify the root cause, we explain the issue clearly and provide an upfront estimate before any work begins. For problems involving the compressor, our team can handle AC compressor repair as part of the same service visit when possible.
We complete most standard repairs the same day, so you are not left without cooling for long. Our trucks carry common replacement parts, and we work efficiently to restore comfort to your home as quickly as possible.
Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Air conditioner repair costs in LaFollette, Caryville, and Campbell County TN depend on several factors. The specific part needing replacement drives much of the price. Capacitors and contactors typically cost less than fan motors or compressors. If your system has a refrigerant leak, the repair cost also includes the refrigerant type and amount needed to restore proper charge levels.
Labor charges vary based on repair complexity. A straightforward capacitor swap takes less time than diagnosing an intermittent electrical fault. We provide transparent pricing before starting any work.
Sometimes AC leak repair combined with a refrigerant recharge makes more financial sense than patching an aging system repeatedly. Our technicians help you understand whether repair or eventual replacement offers the better long-term value for your situation.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.
We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
If your AC unit is under 10 years old and the repair cost is less than half of what a new unit would cost, repair is usually the better choice. Units older than 12 to 15 years often have declining efficiency, making replacement the smarter long-term investment. Our technician evaluates your system’s condition and provides an honest recommendation based on your specific situation.
Low refrigerant usually shows up as reduced cooling power, hissing sounds near the indoor unit, or ice buildup on the refrigerant lines. If you suspect a refrigerant issue, do not delay calling for repair. Leaking refrigerant is both an environmental concern and a comfort issue that worsens over time. We can check refrigerant levels and locate any leaks during a service visit.
Frequent cycling, also called short cycling, has several possible causes. A dirty air filter restricts airflow and causes the system to overheat and shut down. Faulty thermostats, low refrigerant, or electrical problems can also trigger repeated on-off cycles. Short cycling increases wear on your system and raises energy bills. We diagnose the root cause and resolve it so your system runs steadily.
Rattling often points to loose debris inside the unit or unsecured components. Grinding noises frequently indicate a failing motor bearing. Buzzing may suggest an electrical issue, while hissing can mean a refrigerant leak. Any new or unusual noise from your air conditioner deserves prompt attention. Our technician pinpoints the source and performs the necessary repairs before the problem escalates.
If your AC is already showing signs of trouble, schedule repair now rather than waiting. Spring and early summer are our busiest times, and waiting often means longer delays and higher urgency pricing. Addressing issues early also prevents you from being stuck without cooling on the hottest days of the year.

A properly sized unit cools every room evenly, avoiding hot spots and cold drafts throughout your home.
When your AC matches your home’s square footage and insulation, it doesn’t need to overwork, helping you save on energy costs.
Oversized systems cycle on and off too often, while undersized ones run constantly. Both lead to faster wear and tear.
Correctly sized units remove humidity effectively, keeping your indoor air more comfortable during LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN’s humid summers.
Proper sizing means less strain on the compressor and other key components, minimizing breakdowns and repair costs.
