When you call us about a furnace that won’t start, our technician follows a systematic approach to find the problem fast. First, we check the thermostat settings and power supply to rule out simple issues. Then we inspect the furnace’s electrical components, including the capacitor and contactor, which are common failure points in aging units.
Our technician measures voltage at key connection points and tests the ignition system carefully. Many furnace startup failures in older units across LaFollette and surrounding areas trace back to a faulty igniter or flame sensor. We also examine the blower motor and its components to rule out mechanical issues. Once we identify the faulty part, we explain the issue clearly and replace it with quality components before verifying your furnace starts and heats properly.
If your furnace fails after hours or during extreme cold, our emergency furnace repair service gets a technician to your home quickly. We know a furnace that won’t start in freezing weather is more than an inconvenience—it is a safety concern for your family.
Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
