Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our maintenance visits follow a thorough step-by-step process designed to inspect, clean, and optimize your entire system.
First, we perform a complete system inspection. Our technician checks electrical connections, measures refrigerant levels, tests the capacitor and contactor, and evaluates the overall condition of your equipment. We inspect the heat pump or air conditioner components alongside your heating system to ensure both sides of your HVAC system are functioning properly.
Next, we clean critical components. This includes clearing debris from the outdoor condenser, cleaning evaporator and condenser coils when needed, replacing or cleaning air filters, and clearing condensate drain lines. Dirty components force your system to work harder, which burns more energy and wears out parts faster.
Then, we test system operation. We verify proper airflow across all vents, run your system through a complete heating and cooling cycle test, check thermostat accuracy, and ensure safety controls are functioning properly. After cleaning and testing, we provide a written report with any recommendations for repairs or improvements.
We recommend pairing your maintenance visit with an HVAC inspection if your system is older or has not been serviced in over a year. This gives us a deeper look into potential issues that basic maintenance might not catch.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.
We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
Homeowners across LaFollette, LaFollette, LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN, Caryville, and Campbell County TN, Caryville, and Campbell County TN face distinct seasonal challenges that make regular HVAC maintenance essential. Summers bring high humidity and heat that strains cooling systems, while winters can bring extended cold spells that push heating equipment hard. The temperature swings common to East Tennessee mean your system shifts between heating and cooling mode frequently throughout the year.
Many homes in Campbell County use older heat pump systems or combination furnace-and-AC setups that benefit from biannual maintenance — once before summer for cooling preparation and once before winter for heating readiness. Dust and pollen levels in the area also affect indoor air quality and contribute to faster filter buildup, which is why we include filter inspection in every maintenance visit.
Preventive maintenance pays off most in this region. A well-maintained system handles humidity control better, runs more efficiently during peak summer heat, and lasts longer than neglected equipment. Most manufacturers also require regular maintenance to keep warranties valid on newer systems.
Alongside your maintenance visit, ask about adding an HVAC tune up to optimize system performance. While maintenance focuses on inspection and cleaning, a tune-up fine-tunes system settings for peak efficiency.
