Not sure if a UV air purifier makes sense for your home? Here are common signs that indicate poor indoor air quality that UV purification can address:
These symptoms often point to biological contaminants circulating through your ductwork. Standard filters catch dust and pollen, but they do not kill mold spores or bacteria. A UV air purifier adds a layer of protection that destroys these contaminants at the source.

He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our installation process starts with evaluating your current HVAC system to determine the best placement for the UV unit. UV purifiers install inside the ductwork near the evaporator coil or air handler where air velocity is consistent and the light can reach maximum surface area.
Once we identify the ideal location, we mount the UV lamp housing and connect it to your electrical system. The lamp sits in the airflow path so every molecule of air passing through receives UV-C exposure. We wire the unit to your air handler so it runs whenever your system operates, providing continuous purification.
After installation, we test the system to confirm proper operation and explain simple maintenance tasks like replacing the lamp annually. If you are considering other air quality improvements, ask us about air scrubber installation for additional filtration or air duct cleaning service to remove existing buildup before the UV system takes over contamination control.
Many homeowners pair UV purification with HVAC maintenance visits to keep both systems running efficiently and extend the lifespan of their equipment.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.
We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
Campbell County experiences hot, humid summers and cold winters, creating conditions where indoor air quality can suffer significantly. During summer months, constant air conditioning use traps moisture inside your home, creating an environment where mold and bacteria thrive in ductwork and on cooling coils. UV purification addresses this directly by neutralizing biological contaminants as they pass through the system.
Winter heating also impacts indoor air. Sealed homes retain contaminants that build up over the heating season, and reduced ventilation means allergens and odors have nowhere to escape. A UV air purifier works year-round to continuously clean the air inside your home regardless of outdoor conditions.
Many older homes in the Campbell County area have ductwork systems that have accumulated years of dust, pet dander, and biological growth. If you are noticing that your home just does not feel as fresh as it should, a UV air purifier installation could be the solution that makes the difference between acceptable and excellent indoor air quality.
For homeowners considering the investment, pairing UV purification with HVAC inspection helps identify any underlying issues with your ductwork or equipment that might be contributing to poor air quality before installation.
