He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When you call us for furnace problems, our process starts with a thorough inspection of your entire heating system. We check electrical connections, test the limit switch, examine the heat exchanger for cracks, and evaluate the condition of the ignitor or pilot assembly. For older systems with standing pilot lights, we pay close attention to the thermocouple and gas valve operation.
After identifying the faulty component, we provide a clear estimate before any work begins — no surprise charges on your final bill. Common repairs include replacing faulty ignitors ($150–$400), swapping out failing capacitors ($100–$250), fixing thermostat wiring issues ($100–$300), and addressing flame sensor problems ($150–$350). We carry common furnace parts on our trucks so most repairs finish the same day.
For issues involving the heat exchanger or gas valve, we take extra time to ensure safety before restarting your system. We also check your air duct cleaning service needs during the visit since restricted airflow forces furnaces to work harder and wear out faster.
We diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly, so you stay comfortable without long wait times.
Every system we install or service is chosen to fit your home’s size and cooling needs.
We’re proud to serve LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN with dependable service and long-term customer relationships.
Winter temperatures in Campbell County regularly drop into the teens and single digits, making a working furnace essential rather than optional. Homes throughout the area range from older houses with aging gas furnaces to newer construction with high-efficiency systems — and each type presents different repair challenges.
In LaFollette and surrounding communities, we commonly see furnaces struggling after years of heavy use. The cold snaps that move through the valley in December and January test heating systems to their limits. Homes with poor insulation or older ductwork often see uneven heating, where some rooms stay warm while others remain cold.
Our technicians are familiar with the common furnace brands installed in Campbell County homes, including models from Trane, Carrier, Goodman, and Rheem. We also work on older systems that many contractors avoid, keeping parts in stock for Rheem, Whirlpool, and ComfortMaker units common in the area.
Before heating season starts, we recommend booking an HVAC inspection to catch minor problems before they leave you without heat on the coldest night of the year.
Heat pump systems provide year-round comfort for Campbell County residents, but when these versatile units malfunction, prompt professional repair becomes essential. Heat pumps work harder in Tennessee’s variable climate, switching between heating and cooling modes as temperatures fluctuate throughout the seasons. Common issues include refrigerant leaks, defective reversing valves, frozen coils, and electrical component failures that can leave your home uncomfortable regardless of the weather outside.
Our experienced technicians diagnose heat pump problems quickly, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues before they escalate into costly system failures. From LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN’s residential neighborhoods to rural properties around Caryville, we understand how heat pump malfunctions can disrupt daily routines. Emergency repairs often involve coordination with emergency AC repair protocols during summer months when cooling failure becomes critical.
Preventive care through regular HVAC tune up services helps avoid unexpected breakdowns, but when repairs become necessary, our team responds promptly with fully stocked service vehicles. We also provide guidance on when heat pump replacement might be more cost-effective than continued repairs, often recommending heat pump installation of high-efficiency models that better serve East Tennessee’s climate demands.
Professional HVAC maintenance keeps your heating and cooling systems operating at peak efficiency throughout Campbell County’s demanding seasonal changes. Regular maintenance involves comprehensive cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and inspection of all system components to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Scheduled maintenance visits typically include filter replacement, coil cleaning, electrical connection tightening, and performance testing that identifies minor issues before they become major problems.
Tennessee’s climate creates unique maintenance challenges, from summer humidity that strains cooling systems to winter conditions that test heating reliability. Our maintenance programs address these regional factors with services tailored to local weather patterns and air quality concerns. Preventive care often prevents the need for emergency AC repair during peak summer months when system failures are most disruptive.
Comprehensive maintenance includes coordination with duct cleaning services to ensure optimal airflow throughout your home’s ventilation system. We also evaluate thermostat performance and may recommend thermostat installation upgrades that improve system efficiency. Regular maintenance visits provide opportunities to discuss furnace replacement timing when older equipment shows signs of declining performance, helping homeowners plan for future system upgrades.

A properly sized unit cools every room evenly, avoiding hot spots and cold drafts throughout your home.
When your AC matches your home’s square footage and insulation, it doesn’t need to overwork, helping you save on energy costs.
Oversized systems cycle on and off too often, while undersized ones run constantly. Both lead to faster wear and tear.
Correctly sized units remove humidity effectively, keeping your indoor air more comfortable during LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN’s humid summers.
Proper sizing means less strain on the compressor and other key components, minimizing breakdowns and repair costs.
