Posted on Lisa Russ2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Matt for his exceptional service. He exceeded his responsibilities by adding a heat pump to my home purchase. Without prior acquaintance, he took the initiative to visit the property and assess the job requirements. On the same day, he contacted me to confirm that he could complete the task within a few hours, providing a reasonable price. I was delighted not only by the affordability but also by his ability to schedule the work for the following week. After searching for a month for someone to undertake this project, I encountered numerous companies unwilling to travel to my area. However, Matt not only accepted the job but also executed it with remarkable skill and efficiency, all while keeping costs manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking honesty, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding support "Lisa Russ"Posted on Brianne Hess2025-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team are amazing! Scheduling was very simple and the person organizing dispatch was courteous. The technician was professional in appearance and behavior. Initially we had scheduled for an annual maintenance which was quoted at $199 but as it turned out we were having problems with our evaporator coil freezing so that was reduced to a diagnostic service call for only $80; that was my mistake for scheduling it as an annual checkup as opposed to a service call so I don't know that the tech was prepared to do cleaning and/or repairs. He did inspect the equipment however, after finding our return vents suboptimal are evaporator coil clogged and potentially a bad capacitor and dirty fan blades and our outdoor condenser was reportedly " very loud but in operable condition with no leaks in the system" he was adamant that we either spend several thousand dollars having them clean the air handler and replacing some maintenance Parts such as the capacitor, cleaning the fan, and replacing the evaporator coil which involves evacuating the coolant, cutting out the evaporator coil from the copper lines and resetting a new evaporator coil in its place. Alternatively we were offered the option to replace the outdoor condenser and the indoor Handler with some modifications being made to the ductwork to improve return air for approximately $9,000. I disassembled the air handler and cleaned the fan and had a technician from another local company come out and look at the system. they disassembled and cleaned the evaporator coil without having to cut the lines and then rechecked the pressures at the condenser and found the improvements in aiflow had raised pressures at the condenser and solved our freezing problem, he also took the time to evaluate our duct work and while not optimal for an older house the system setup is quite common and should be more than sufficient for the requirements of the air handler furthermore they offered to help us find appropriate filters for the returns to prevent the evaporator coil from getting clogged in the future and advised on appropriate filters to use at the air handler. they evaluated the condenser and found that it was no louder than normal and in good working order. How *long* it stays working... we'll see EDIT: after having a discussion with the owner Matt, I understand his point of view about wanting to remove the coil to clean it to prevent potential liability for damage to the lines that looked likely to occur. The options that he gave us a replacing components versus replacing the entire system were reasonable and allowed us to pick from within our interests and budget. It was not high pressure sales pitch or anything like that. but as always folks, if money is tight a second opinion on such a big project never hurts.Posted on Kristopher Herring2025-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Air scrubber installation costs across LaFollette, LaFollette, LaFollette, Jacksboro, Caryville, and Campbell County TN, Caryville, and Campbell County TN, Caryville, and Campbell County TN vary based on the system type, your home’s square footage, and whether your HVAC setup requires modifications for proper integration. How does an air scrubber differ from a standard air filter?
A standard filter captures large particles passing through your ducts, but an air scrubber actively traps and neutralizes smaller particles, odors, and chemical fumes through advanced filtration media and sometimes UV or carbon technology. Air scrubbers provide more thorough air cleaning than passive filtration alone.
Will an air scrubber increase my energy bills?
Air scrubbers add minimal load to your HVAC system since they work alongside existing airflow. Most homeowners see only a slight increase in energy consumption, typically under $10 per month, while gaining significant air quality benefits throughout the home.
How often do air scrubber filters need replacement?
Filter replacement frequency depends on your specific system and indoor air quality conditions. Most residential air scrubbers need filter changes every 6 to 12 months. Homes with pets, smokers, or high dust levels may require more frequent service intervals.
Can I install an air scrubber in an older home with existing HVAC issues?
Yes, but addressing any existing HVAC problems first ensures optimal performance. Our technicians inspect your system before installation to identify any airflow restrictions or equipment issues that might affect how well the air scrubber functions throughout your home.
Does an air scrubber help with pet dander and allergens?
Air scrubbers effectively capture pet dander, dust mite debris, pollen, and other common allergens from circulating air. For severe allergy sufferers, pairing an air scrubber with a UV air purifier installation provides additional protection against biological allergens.
